Green borscht with chicken is a practical dietary dish, because there are only greens, vegetables and chicken fillet. I also like to add an egg – raw when cooking or boiled – only later when serving.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 300 g
- Sorrel - 100 g
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Green onion - 0.5 beam
- Greenery - 0.5 beam
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the fillet until tender, take it out, slice it and return it back.
Add the chopped potatoes to the broth, and cook until tender, too. 5 minutes before the end, add the chopped onion.
Chop the sorrel and all the greens. Add to the broth.
Season to taste, boil for another 2 minutes and remove from heat.
