Traditional Hawaiian poke contains fresh fish in the recipe, which is served with rice, coarsely chopped pieces of vegetables and other various additives. I suggest cooking this unusual and very healthy dish with shrimp. It's just an explosion of taste!
Ingredients
- Fig - 300 g
- Shrimp - 150 g
- Avocado - 1 pcs.
- Cherry tomatoes - 4 pcs.
- Cucumbers - 1 pcs.
- Radish - 2 pcs.
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Pickled ginger - 60 g
- Algae - to taste
- Greenery (any) – optional
- Sesame (white and black) – 5 g
- Soy sauce - 50 ml
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l.
- Sesame oil - 10 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fry garlic in hot sesame oil.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste, add to the pan with garlic and oil, fry until golden brown.
Cut the avocado pulp into thin slices.
Prepare the marinade: combine soy sauce, lemon juice and sesame oil. Marinate the shrimp, leave for 5 minutes.
Wash the rice, fill it with water, in a ratio of 1:1, add salt and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and cook under the lid for another 20-25 minutes.
Wash the greens, dry them with paper towels, chop them. Cucumbers and radishes cut into very thin slices, cherry tomatoes cut in half.
Put rice, prepared shrimp, avocado, radishes, cucumbers and tomatoes in a deep dish, sprinkle with herbs and sesame seeds. If desired, supplement the poke with pickled ginger or seaweed.
