Clean and rinse the physalis, pierce each fruit or cut into pieces.

Pour boiling water over the citrus fruits, chop, remove the seeds and grind them in a blender with half the sugar and water.

Add physalis, bring the mass to a boil, boil for 10-15 minutes and leave to cool overnight.

Boil the jam again, add the remaining sugar, boil for 5-7 minutes and roll into sterile jars.
