Canned satsebeli with walnuts is my way to bring authentic Georgian flavor to any dish. After the sauce is ready, I pour it into sterilized jars and tighten the lids. You can enjoy it at any time of the year.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 3 kg
- Hot red pepper - 2 pieces
- Pomegranate juice - 2 glasses
- Garlic - 3 heads
- Walnuts - 1 glass
- Cilantro - 1 bundle
- Salt - 1 art.l.
- Hop-suneli - 1 art.l.
- Sugar - 2-3 tbsp.l.
- Coriander - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the tomatoes and put them through a meat grinder.
Chop hot pepper, garlic, cilantro and nuts in a blender.
Mix together all the ingredients for the sauce and bring to a boil.
Boil it for 20 minutes on low heat and roll it into sterile jars.
