Very different compotes are obtained from different varieties of apples. Some are sweeter, some are sourer, some are more or less saturated. My favorite recipe is canned compote from Antonovka. I remember this since childhood, and today I will be happy to share it with you.
Ingredients
- Apples (antonovka) – 300 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Water - 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the apples in a clean, dry jar.
Pour boiling water and leave for 7-10 minutes under the lid.
Drain this water, boil it again and pour it back for another 7-10 minutes.
Drain this water again, add sugar to it and boil it.
Pour the compote back and roll it up for the winter.
