Classic winter cherry compote is berry, sugar, water, and nothing superfluous. It is wonderfully stored, pleases with excellent taste, and also preserves for the winter those most valuable vitamins that are so lacking with the departure of heat.
Ingredients
- Cherry - 800 g
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the washed cherries in sterile jars, cover with sugar and leave for 5 minutes.
Pour boiling water over the berries and leave under the lid for another 10 minutes.
Drain the syrup, boil it again, pour the cherries again and roll up the jars.
