Plum compotes are very tasty, but sometimes very sweet. So I want to add a little lightness and freshness. A very unusual and interesting way to do this is to mix a plum with a naturally sour gooseberry. A win-win option!
Ingredients
- Plums - 500 g
- Gooseberry - 300 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Water - 2-3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the plum and sort out the gooseberries.
Put everything in dry clean jars. Pour boiling water and leave under the lids for 15 minutes.
Drain this water and boil it again with sugar to taste.
Pour the compote a second time and roll it up for the winter.
