Traditionally, preparations for the winter are made from cherries, because it is better suited for conservation. At least, that's what our mothers and grandmothers thought. But why not break the usual routine? Compote from a mix of cherries and cherries is so familiar on the one hand, and quite original on the other.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the cherries and cherries, remove the stalks and put them in jars.
Boil water with sugar, and pour the syrup over the berries.
Leave under the lids for 10-15 minutes.
Drain the syrup, boil again and add citric acid.
Pour the syrup back and roll up the compote for the winter.
