There are different ways to roll up apple compote for the winter. The easiest way is to take the whole fruit. But I also like this option in small pieces. They can then also be eaten with a spoon or used in desserts.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 2 glasses
  • Water - 2 l
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the apples into pieces, cover with sugar and leave for 7-10 minutes.

Fill with water and bring to a boil. Boil the compote for 10 minutes on low heat.

Add citric acid, pour the compote into sterile jars and roll up.
