A good way to diversify the classic adjika with tomatoes is to add prunes there. It gives the workpiece piquancy and completely new flavor notes. A great addition to meat dishes and just a full-fledged independent snack.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the tomatoes and put them through a meat grinder.

Send carrots, bell peppers, chili, plums and prunes to the same place.

Add salt, sugar, butter and spices as desired.

Boil the adjika for an hour on low heat.

Add crushed garlic, boil for another 20 minutes, pour in vinegar, boil for another 7 minutes and roll the adjika into sterile jars.
