In winter there are constantly not enough colors, and you have to add them to life yourself. I suggest a great way – a colorful preparation of yellow tomatoes. It's enough to get a jar out of the closet – and now the mood is a little better!
Ingredients
- Yellow tomatoes - 800 g
- Zucchini - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Currant leaves - 2 pieces
- Carnation - 4 pieces
- Allspice (with peas) – 8 pieces
- Black Pepper (with peas) – 12 pieces
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 40 g
- Salt - 20 g
- Vinegar - 2 tsp.
- Greenery - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put leaves, herbs, garlic, both types of pepper and cloves into sterilized jars.
Wash the tomatoes and also carefully arrange them in jars.
Add zucchini circles to the workpiece. If desired, you can take carrots instead.
Pour boiling water over the vegetables and leave for 15 minutes. Drain the water and pour the vinegar into the jars.
Boil 1 liter of water, add sugar and salt and boil until they dissolve.
Pour the tomatoes with brine and roll up.
