It's time to add a little variety to the classic recipes. For example, to supplement the usual cherry jam with walnut. For safety reasons, I recommend removing the seeds from the cherry. Otherwise, everything is simple and fast.

Wash the cherry under running water, remove the bones.

In a deep saucepan, mix water and sugar, boil for 2 minutes.

Pour the cherries into the syrup and boil for 5 minutes.

Dry the walnuts in a frying pan for a couple of minutes and pour them into a saucepan with cherries. Boil everything together for 10 minutes on low heat.

Put the jam in the prepared container, close the lids and wrap it with a warm blanket for a day.
