Vegetable caviar is good for its versatility. It can be served as an appetizer, spread on toast, used in sandwiches and burgers, make different fillings out of it – that's enough imagination. And it can also be very diverse. For example, caviar from boiled beets.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Apple cider vinegar - 3 tbsp.l .
- Water - 50 ml
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Bow purple - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the beets until tender and chop in any way.
Finely chop the onion and garlic, and fry in oil.
Add the beetroot, water and all the spices, and simmer the caviar for 20 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, mix the caviar and roll it into a sterilized jar.
