I love vegetable caviar, because it makes it possible to use many different vegetables. For example, beets are very popular at home, so I have some secret recipes for cooking it. This time I will tell you how easy and simple it is to make such caviar through a meat grinder.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 1 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Apples - 500 g
- Onion - 400 g
- Hot red pepper - 2 pieces
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Vinegar - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel all the vegetables and put them through a meat grinder.
Add sugar, butter and salt. Bring to a boil.
Simmer the caviar for 1.5 hours on low heat and then pour in the vinegar.
Roll up the caviar for the winter in sterilized jars.
