Some time ago I really liked to add walnuts to jam. Sometimes experiments are more successful, sometimes less. This version of apples is definitely one of the best. In addition, depending on the variety, the result will always be different.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Dry the nuts in a dry frying pan and chop finely.
Peel and slice the apples.
Add lemon juice and sugar, leave them for a couple of hours.
Bring to a boil and cook the jam for 20 minutes on low heat.
Add the nuts and cook for another 20 minutes.
Roll the jam into sterilized jars.
