Green tomatoes also make a wonderful jam, especially if you add something else to them. For example, lemon with its distinct aroma and sourness. The jam is very tasty, but quite unusual, so I advise you to roll it in small jars.

Wash and chop the green tomatoes, cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.

Add lemon juice and zest, and boil for half an hour on low heat, stirring.

Put the jam in jars and sterilize for another 15-20 minutes. Roll up the lids.
