When the usual berry jams are already tired, culinary experiments are in progress. I tried several recipes for fig jam, and chose the simplest and most successful one among them. And now I'm sharing a proven option!

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the figs, cut off the hard tails and cut into pieces.

Fill with water and bring to a boil, and then boil until soft on low heat.

Add sugar, stir and cook the jam for another 5 minutes.

Let the jam cool, boil again and boil again for 5 minutes.

Repeat this step one more time, and at the end add lemon juice and zest to taste.

Grind the mass with a blender, boil again and roll the jam into sterilized jars.
