If you have a pot of broth left, I suggest you cook such a quick and delicious pickle. It will take you about half an hour to cook the pearl barley and potatoes. A very good option for lazy housewives!
Ingredients
- Chicken broth - 1.5 l
- Pearl barley - 100 g
- Cucumbers (salty) – 300 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Potatoes - 400 g
- Cucumber pickle - 100 ml
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Garlic - 2 clove
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the pearl barley in boiling broth according to the instructions. 10 minutes before the end, add the chopped potatoes.
Add finely chopped carrots and onions, cook until the vegetables are ready.
Last of all, add chopped pickles, brine, spices and crushed garlic.
Bring the pickle to a boil and remove from heat.
