Borscht with smoked meat is definitely something new! But why not try and cook it at your leisure? It turns out even more fragrant. And besides, it cooks faster, because you don't need to boil the broth for hours.
Ingredients
- Smoked Meat - 300 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Sauerkraut - 200 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Beetroot - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomato paste - 1 art.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Coarsely chop the smoked meat, pour water and boil for 20 minutes.
Add the sliced potatoes and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Grate beets and carrots, chop onions and squeeze sauerkraut.
Fry the onion and carrot for 3 minutes. Add the remaining vegetables and fry for another 5 minutes.
Add the tomato, simmer the roast a little under the lid, send it to the borscht and cook for another 15 minutes.
At the very end, season to taste.
