Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2 kg
- Onion - 300 g
- Garlic - 50 g
- Apple cider vinegar - 80 ml
- Sugar - 150 g
- Salt - 10 g
- Water - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut tomatoes and peeled onions into large chunks.
Put the vegetables in a saucepan, add the peeled garlic cloves.
Pour in water and simmer for 20 minutes.
Rub the soft vegetables through a sieve to remove the peel and seeds.
Mix the resulting puree with sugar and salt.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, remove from the heat and close in the prepared jars.
