Classic pea soups are already a little tired, and sometimes you want variety. And sometimes, there just isn't enough time for a long cooking of dried peas. In such cases, I use this recipe with canned peas and young cabbage.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Green peas - 1 bank
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Cabbage - 200 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the chicken until tender, and in the meantime, chop the cabbage, chop the onion and grate the carrots.
Put the cabbage in boiling broth and cook for 15 minutes.
Add the onion and carrot and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Add canned peas with liquid and spices, boil for 3 minutes and remove the soup from the heat.
