Rinse the peas under running water and soak for 1.5-2 hours.

Rinse the peas again, pour in the vegetable broth, add the bay leaf and cook for 1 hour over low heat.

Cut the smoked bacon, potatoes, onions and carrots into small pieces.

Fry the onion and carrot until golden brown in a well-heated frying pan with oil.

Add bacon and allspice peas crushed in a mortar. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour the roast and potatoes into a saucepan with peas. Boil everything together for 10 minutes.

Add salt, add rosemary sprigs and turn off. Infuse the finished soup under the lid for 20 minutes.
