Is there anyone who does not like winter compotes in large three-liter jars? This is all what our mothers and grandmothers cooked. This time I will share a proven recipe of apples and cherries – simple, affordable and very, very tasty.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick the cherries, randomly slice the apples and put everything in a jar.
Pour boiling water, cover and leave for half an hour.
Drain this water and boil it again.
Pour sugar and citric acid into the jar, pour boiling water and roll up the compote.
