For this recipe, I advise you to take small tomatoes with a dense skin that will not burst from hot water. Cherry or cocktail tomatoes are perfect. Make sure they are about the same ripeness!
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 700 g
- Currant leaves - 2 pieces
- Dill (umbrellas) – 2 pieces
- Allspice (polka dots) – 4 pieces
- Black Pepper (polka dots) – 4 pieces
- Garlic - 2 teeth
- Salt - 2 art.l.
- Sugar - 5 art.l.
- Vinegar (70%) – 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the tomatoes and cover with water for an hour.
Soak all the greens separately for 15 minutes.
Put the herbs, garlic and spices on the bottom of the jar. Carefully tamp the tomatoes on top.
Boil the water, pour it into a jar and leave for 30 minutes. Drain the water and repeat the procedure again.
Add salt and sugar to the tomatoes, fill the jar with boiling water again, pour in the vinegar and roll up.
