Most of us are used to cooking sweet dishes from plums: jams, jams, compotes and pastilles. But these fruits are perfectly soaked in spices, vinegar and salt. Prepare pickled plums with garlic and see for yourself!

Ingredients

  • Plums - 1 kg
  • Garlic - 5 teeth
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Carnation - 2 pieces
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 art.l.
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Vinegar - 50 ml
  • Sugar - 40 g
  • Salt - 30 g
  • Water - 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the plums and pierce them in several places with a needle.

Place spices, plums and crushed garlic cloves in sterilized jars.

Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave for half an hour.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt, oil and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour vinegar and boiling marinade into jars.

Roll up, turn upside down and wrap up with a warm blanket.
