It's summer outside, and there are ripe apricots in the basket? It's time to cook delicious croissants with fruit filling. Their taste and aroma is literally maddening. Adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of the apricots.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Apricots - 300 g
- Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Corn starch - 1 tsp.
- Chicken eggs (for lubrication) – 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost the dough at room temperature.
Wash the apricots, dry them with paper towels, remove the seeds.
Chop the apricots with a meat grinder or in a blender.
Add powdered sugar, starch and mix.
Roll out the dough to the desired thickness and cut into identical triangles.
Put a little apricot mass on the wide edge of the workpiece. Tuck the edges inside and roll up a loose roll. Repeat the steps with the remaining blanks and filling.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, and lay out the croissants. Leave for 10-15 minutes in a warm place.
Shake the egg with a fork and grease the croissants.
Bake for 10 minutes at 210 degrees, then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
