Ingredients

  • Lemongrass (Chinese) – 2 kg
  • Sugar - 500 g
  • Water - 300 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the lemongrass berries and mash a little with a pusher.

Pour in water, bring to a boil and cook for half an hour over medium heat.

Strain the juice through cheesecloth in several layers or in any other convenient way.

Add sugar to the juice, bring it to a boil, boil for 10-15 minutes and remove the foam.

Roll the juice from the Chinese lemongrass into sterile jars.
