Try to cook a spicy adjika of tomatoes with apples and garlic for the winter. Apples give tenderness, and garlic – sharpness. Tomatoes also provide a bright taste and smell. The sauce is stored for a long time, so you can enjoy it even on the coldest winter day.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2.5 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Apples - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 kg
- Hot red pepper - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 200 g
- Vinegar - 1 glass
- Salt - 65 g
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Vegetable oil - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel fruits and vegetables, and put everything through a meat grinder.
Bring the mass to a boil and simmer for an hour on low heat.
Add oil, vinegar, sugar and salt. Simmer for another 20 minutes.
Roll up the adjika in sterile jars.
