Nectarines in syrup can be used to make desserts, compotes, fillings in pies. This is a good way to save fruits for winter and then enjoy their taste, and not buy at exorbitant prices in supermarkets.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cans can not be sterilized, just wash them and dry them. Wash the nectarines, too, and separate them from the bone. Each half can be cut in half again.

Put the nectarines in jars, pour boiling water, cover and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and bring to a boil. At the end, add citric acid and mix well.

Pour the syrup into jars, roll it up and put it to cool in a dark place.
