If you are not in the mood to mess around with a long jam cooking, but you need to roll currants into jars – I suggest this recipe. It will be sweet, because there is sugar in the composition. But at the same time – in its own juice due to cooking technology. And what else is needed?

Ingredients

  • Currant - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 2 glasses
  • Water - 120 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sort the currants and put them in clean, dry jars.

Cover with sugar and add a little water.

Put the jars to sterilize in boiling water.

Sterilize for about half an hour while the currant secretes juice.

Add berries as needed.

Roll up the jars for the winter.
