Ingredients
- Gooseberry (green) – 1 kg
- Lemon - 1.5 pieces
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour water to the gooseberries and simmer until the berries are soft. Grind through a sieve.
Bring the mass to a boil and gradually add sugar.
Pour boiling water over the lemons, chop them in a blender with zest, but without seeds, and put them to the gooseberries.
Bring the mass to a re-boil, boil the jam for 20-30 minutes until thick and roll it into sterile jars.
