When buying applesauce in the store, many are disappointed with the price and taste. But it's so easy to cook it yourself! I share an excellent recipe that even an inexperienced cook can use.
Ingredients
- Apples - 3 kg
- Sugar - 500 g
- Citric acid - 2 g
- Water - 250 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the apples, seeds and cut into small pieces.
Place the fruit in a saucepan with a thick bottom.
Pour in water mixed with citric acid.
Boil for 20 minutes and puree with a blender until smooth.
Add sugar and boil for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Fill clean dry jars with hot mashed potatoes, roll them up and leave them warm for a day.
