One of the most interesting ways to prepare beets for the winter was this option. I suggest marinating it in jars entirely. This requires small root crops of approximately the same size. And then you can do anything with the preparation – add it to salads, borscht, soups and other dishes.

Ingredients

  • Beetroot (shallow) – 1 kg
  • Allspice - 5 peas
  • Water - 1-1.5 l
  • Salt - 30 g
  • Sugar - 40 g
  • Vinegar - 0.5 glass

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil the beets until tender, peel and place in sterilized jars.

Boil the water and all the other ingredients.

Pour boiling marinade over the beetroot and sterilize the jars for another 15 minutes.

Roll up the billet for the winter.
