Pickling is an unusual way of cooking berries, which will preserve its bright taste and aroma for a long time. A marinade of vinegar and spices gives dogwood a pleasant sourness and makes it an excellent addition to meat dishes or snacks.
Ingredients
- Dogwood - 600 g
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l .
- Vinegar - 1 art.l.
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Carnation - 2 bud
- Cardamom - 2 boxes
- Star anise - 1 asterisk
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
- Allspice - 4 peas
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the dogwood, put it in sterile jars and pour boiling water.
Leave for 20 minutes under the lids.
Drain this water, add all the other ingredients to it and boil again.
Fill the dogwood with marinade and roll it up for the winter.
