There are carrots all year round, but the season of really juicy and sweet carrots is very limited. I propose to stock up on it for the future, and prepare several jars of preservation. This is a good alternative to Korean-style snacks.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 3.5 kg
- Salt - 50 g
- Sugar - 50 g
- Water - 2 l
- Vinegar (6%) – 250 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the carrots and cut them into circles. If you have time, you can cut it with stars or other figures – children will really like it. Cubes, cubes or straws are also suitable.
Bring salted water to a boil, put the carrots in it and boil for 5 minutes.
Arrange the carrots in jars, and add sugar to the water.
Boil the marinade again, pour in the vinegar, mix and pour the blanks.
Roll up the jars and store them in a cool place.
