I advise you to choose unripe fruits with dense pulp for this recipe. Bergamot, Lemon and Severyanka varieties are best suited. Compote of pears in halves is two in one. You get a delicious drink and a great fruit dessert at the same time.

Ingredients

  • Pear - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 400 g
  • Lemon juice - 100 ml
  • Water (filtered) – 5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the pears into halves, peel and peel the seeds.

Put the fruit in sterilized jars.

Boil water, add lemon juice and immediately remove from heat.

Pour the boiling syrup into the jars and leave under the lids for 20 minutes.

Pour the syrup into a saucepan, add sugar and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour into jars, roll up and wrap up well for a day.
