Blackberries have a lot of advantages in cooking – they are healthy, fragrant, with a bright color and, of course, incredibly rich in vitamins. But it doesn't have a very expressive taste, and that's why I prefer to supplement it with something else when cooking jam. For example, lemons and oranges.
Ingredients
- Blackberries - 800 g
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Orange - 1 piece
- Sugar - 800 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cover the blackberries with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Add lemon and orange juice. You can add zest to taste.
Bring the jam to a boil and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
Spread it out in clean, dry jars.
