Physalis peel, rinse and cut into small pieces.
In a deep saucepan, boil the syrup of water and sugar for 3 minutes.
Add physalis, boil for 2 minutes and cool at room temperature. Repeat the procedure twice.
Add anise, citric acid and boil the jam for another 2 minutes.
Spread out in prepared jars and roll up.
