To all lovers of crispy gherkins from the store, I suggest you try to make your own ones. Among all the recipes, I managed to find the most successful one. I'm sure not all of your guests will believe that you made them yourself.
Ingredients
- Gherkins - 1.2 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 4 tbsp.l .
- Vinegar - 3 art.l.
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Cherry leaves - 3 pieces
- Currant leaves - 3 pieces
- Carnation - 3 buds
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the gherkins and soak for 4 hours in ice water.
Put all the spices and leaves in sterile jars.
Tamp the gherkins there and pour boiling water over them. Cover with lids and leave for 10 minutes.
Drain this water and boil it again. Pour the gherkins again for 10 minutes.
Drain and boil the water again, add salt, sugar and vinegar, pour the gherkins again and roll up.
