A very simple recipe for connoisseurs of tomato preservation. I suggest cooking tomatoes in their own juice without vinegar. It is enough to boil the juice with additives, and then sterilize together with tomatoes. The workpiece can be stored even at room temperature.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 5 kg
  • Garlic - 4 clove
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Salt - 80 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pass half of the tomatoes through a juicer.

Peel the remaining vegetables and put them in jars.

Pour the tomato juice into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add garlic, sugar, salt and ground pepper passed through the press.

Boil for 10 minutes and pour into jars with tomatoes.

Sterilize for 15 minutes, roll up and leave for a day in the heat.
