Delicious homemade borscht is obtained not only from chicken, but from juicy tender turkey. I prefer to use breast, because it gives less fat and the broth turns out easier. But you can take any part to taste.

Fill the turkey with water and boil for half an hour.

Add the sliced potatoes and cook for another 10-15 minutes on low heat.

Add the remaining vegetables and cook the borscht for another 15 minutes until they are ready.

At the end, add the spices and mix.
