From other berries, black elderberry is distinguished by an unusual taste and aroma, so jam from it always turns out to be very advantageous. Further in the recipe I will tell you how to cook it properly in order to also preserve the benefits of vitamins.
Ingredients
- Elderberry (black) – 1 kg
- Citric acid - 1-2 g
- Sugar - 800 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Go through the elder, tear off the twigs, cover with sugar and citric acid, and leave everything overnight under the lid.
Bring the jam to a boil and cook for 40-45 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
