Onion soup is an amateur dish. In our latitudes, they are not too used to it. But even if you are confused by the traditional French recipe, I advise you to try this leek soup at least once. This is a completely different and very delicate dish!

Finely chop all the vegetables. Fry the onion and garlic until transparent.
Add leeks and potatoes to them, and simmer for a couple of minutes.
Pour in the broth and cook the vegetables for 10 minutes after boiling.
Pour in the milk and cream, boil again and cook for another 10 minutes. Season the soup with salt and pepper.
Chop the soup with a blender until smooth and garnish with leek rings and herbs. Serve with a fresh baguette.
