The person who came up with the idea of adding nuts to jam was definitely a genius. And this jam of figs with almonds is an excellent confirmation of that. It is so delicious that after the first spoonful it is simply impossible to stop further.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut or chop figs in any convenient way - coarsely or through a meat grinder.

Add water, lemon crushed in a blender and sugar.

Bring the mass to a boil and boil for 20 minutes.

Add chopped almonds and cook for another 15 minutes.

Roll up the jam in sterile jars for the winter.
