The apple harvest has exceeded your expectations, and jam and apple juice are already on the shelves of the pantry? Cover the apples in the syrup. This is the most delicate dessert for winter and a delicious filling in sweet pastries. Use the syrup as a base for compotes and natural jelly.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 700 g
  • Sugar - 280 g
  • Water - how many will enter

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the apples and cut them into slices, after removing the cores.

Fill pre-sterilized jars with apple slices to the top.

Boil water and pour boiling water over apples in jars. Cover the jars with sterile lids and leave to warm up for 20 minutes

Then drain the water from the cans into a saucepan, add sugar, bring the syrup to a boil and boil over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Pour boiling syrup over apples in jars. Roll up the jars immediately, turn them upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Store the cooled workpiece in a cool, dark place.
