Of all the recipes for canned peach compote, this one can deservedly be called one of the simplest and at the same time successful. At least over the years of using it, it has never let me down. So I shouldn't let you down either.
Ingredients
- Peaches - 1 kg
- Water - 2 l
- Sugar - 350 g
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the peaches into slices and put them in sterile jars.
Boil water with sugar and pour over the peaches.
Sterilize the jars for 10-15 minutes in a pot of water.
Add citric acid and roll up the compote.
