I like compotes for the winter much more than jam or other preparations. And all because they are prepared literally in a matter of minutes. And without any surprises, like the need to leave the workpiece overnight or wait for it to cool down.

Ingredients

  • Cherry - 600 g
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Citric acid - 2 pinches
  • Water - 1.5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sterilize the jars in advance.

Pour the cherries with sugar with water and bring to a boil.

Boil the compote for 5 minutes, add citric acid and roll it into jars.
