Let's make natural homemade plum juice without using a juicer? According to this simple recipe, plums are first boiled, then mashed and rubbed through a sieve. The juice turns out rich, delicious and fragrant!

Ingredients

  • Plums - 3 kg
  • Sugar - 400 g (depending on the plum variety and your taste preferences)
  • Water (if necessary) – 1 glass

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the plums, divide into halves and remove the bones.

Place the halves of the plums in a cooking pot, pour water so that it only covers the plums, bring to a boil and boil over low heat for 3-5 minutes.

Mash the softened plums together with the liquid with an immersion blender.

Wipe the resulting plum mass through a sieve. If the juice is thick enough, pour in a little water.

Add sugar, mix well, bring the workpiece to a boil again, remove the foam and remove the pan from the heat.

Pour boiling plum juice into sterile jars, roll up, turn upside down, wrap and cool. Store the cooled juice in a cool, dark place.
