One of the most popular vegetable preparations for the winter has a fancy name – mother-in-law's tongue. Most often, this language is prepared from eggplants and zucchini. And it can also be made from patissons, and then I'll tell you in detail exactly how.
Ingredients
- Patisson - 1.5 kg
- Garlic - 1.5 heads
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Bell pepper - 3 pieces
- Tomato sauce - 250 ml
- Vegetable oil - 0.5 glasses
- Water - 120 ml
- Sugar - 0.25 glasses
- Salt - 0.5 tbsp.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 1.5 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the squash into cubes or plates to taste.
Finely chop the garlic and both types of pepper.
Mix together all the ingredients except vinegar.
Bring the billet to a boil and simmer for half an hour.
Pour in the vinegar, simmer for another 5 minutes and roll into sterile jars.
