Your winter menu will be more interesting if you stock up on various vegetable preparations in the summer. Among other things, I recommend cooking eggplant with garlic. A fragrant snack can be served with most main dishes.
Ingredients
- Eggplant - 2 kg
- Garlic - 100 g
- Vegetable oil - 250 ml
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
- Water - 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the eggplants and pour salted water for 15 minutes.
Boil water, add bay leaf, salt, vinegar and eggplant.
Boil until eggplant is soft. On average, it takes 5-8 minutes.
Put the vegetables in a colander, mix with butter and chopped garlic.
Spread out in sterilized jars, roll up and wrap up well for a day.
